I’m delighted to say that I’m now exhibiting my art in the Cobbs Coffee Shop above Craigdon Mountain Sports, just over the Edinburgh City By-pass from Hillend Ski-slope.

So far we have a selection of framed giclée prints on the walls and one large acrylic abstract piece. You’ll find Map Silhouettes, including our compilation pieces with 3 or four silhouettes of Edinburgh or East Lothian landmarks, framed in as a single piece – ideal when looking for something to fill that tricky narrow wall space.

Also great for the long narrow spaces are our Word Art pieces, highlighting the best that Edinburgh has to offer.

To greet you when you come out of the lift, there are some from my range of watercolour birds – the most popular is the Wren, along with the Gannet and my keen-eyed Eagle Owl.

Billy (the Manager), is delighted to have one of my big new abstracts on the wall – this one is called Foothills (1000mm sq) and is an acrylic on canvas, created using both pouring techniques and brushwork – fabulously messy techniques they are too… If you’d like something similar but with your choice of colour just get in touch. Foothills is £1200 framed (£950 for canvas-only commissions, which I can send to you as a rolled canvas).

One of the best things about having my art in Cobbs, is that occasionally, restocking coincides with lunchtime…the Thai-style eggs are out of this world! Failing that, there is always time for a first class coffee.

Cobbs is open 7 days, so pop in for some tasty delights and maybe leave with a picture under your arm…we’ll be adding more stock and changing things regularly.
